SomaVerse founder and director: a licensed specialist clinical social worker (Kansas LSCSW #4259) and Somatic Psychedelic Certified Therapist with more than 20 years of practice.

Anissa is a licensed specialist clinical social worker (LSCSW), psychotherapist and somatic psychedelic-assisted psychotherapist with more than twenty years of experience guiding people through deep, integrative healing. She founded Mind & Body Healing Collective in Lawrence and built SomaVerse as its ketamine-assisted therapy program.
Her work rests on a simple belief: profound change begins in the body, unfolds through the psyche and blossoms in the soul. She is trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, regression therapy, mindfulness and spiritual-awakening practices. In 2024 she completed the EMBODY Lab certificate for psychedelic somatic practitioners. She earned her MSW from Newman University in 2001. In ketamine work she pairs evidence-based care with intuitive, embodied presence so clients can reconnect with their most authentic selves.
Music, movement and authentic expression run through everything she does, and she believes joy, community and connection are essential to lasting well-being.
